Sharpedo

Sharpedo (Japanese: サメハダー Samehader) is a dual-type Water/Dark Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It evolves from Carvanha starting at level 30. Sharpedo resembles a torpedo-shaped shark covered in tiny, sharp denticles. It has a large mouth filled with triangular, sharp teeth and deep red eyes that glow in the dark. Sharpedo can propel itself through the water by jetting seawater out of its rear, reaching speeds of 75 to 80 mph. However, it is unable to swim long distances. It is known as the "Bully of the Sea" due to its sharp teeth, capable of ripping through iron and steel. Sharpedo’s teeth are constantly regenerating. It is known to prey on Wailmer and other Water-type Pokémon. It is also used as a Ride Pokémon called Sharpedo Jet in Alola. Sharpedo can Mega Evolve into Mega Sharpedo using the Sharpedonite. Mega Sharpedo features transformed fangs and retractable horn-like fangs, and its body is covered in scars from battles, causing it pain.
