Camerupt, known in Japanese as バクーダ (Bakuuda), is a dual-type Fire/Ground Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It evolves from Numel. Camerupt resembles a camel with two volcano-like humps on its back. Female Camerupt have larger humps than males. Camerupt's body contains magma reaching 18,000 degrees Fahrenheit (10,000 degrees Celsius), which can erupt from the humps when it's angry. These Pokémon typically live in volcanic or mountainous areas. While usually calm, Camerupt becomes enraged when struck in the face. It can also Mega Evolve into Mega Camerupt using Cameruptite. Mega Camerupt’s humps merge into a single, active volcano, spewing lava. In its Mega Evolution, it becomes even more aggressive and has a strong dislike of water and moisture.
