Grumpig

Grumpig (Japanese: ブーピッグ, Boopiggu) is a Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It evolves from Spoink starting at level 32. Grumpig is a bipedal, pig-like Pokémon with a purple body and black accents. It has two black pearls on its forehead and one on its midsection, which it uses to amplify its psychic powers. While using its powers, it performs an odd dance to control its targets. Grumpig is often described as a Pokémon with manipulative abilities, and its black pearls are considered valuable artworks. It appears in various Pokémon games including Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, and Pokémon Sword and Shield. It also appears in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. The name Grumpig likely combines 'grumpy' and 'pig', while its Japanese name, Boopiggu, combines the sound of a pig's 'oink' (ブー) with 'pig'.
