Baltoy

Baltoy, known in Japanese as Yajilon, is a dual-type Ground/Psychic Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It resembles a small, tan figurine made of clay or mud. It has arching, red markings over its eyes, which usually appear closed, and a red stripe that encircles its body and forms a ring on its belly. It has flat appendages resembling arms and a spike protruding from its head, along with a smaller spike under its body which serves as its foot. Baltoy moves by spinning on this single pointed foot and can balance upright to sleep. They are commonly found in ruins and old graveyards, where they gather with others of their kind and unleash loud cries. Ancient cave wall paintings depict Baltoy living with people in ancient times. In the Pokémon the Series, an ancient civilization used Baltoy to travel through time by spinning them on a magic circle artifact. Baltoy evolves into Claydol starting at level 36.
