Lileep (リリーラ) is a dual-type Rock/Grass Fossil Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It is revived from a Root Fossil and evolves into Cradily starting at level 40. Lileep is based on a crinoid, or sea lily, featuring a purple body, and eight pink, dark-tipped, petal-like tentacles protruding from an opening on top of its head. Inside this opening are two glowing yellow eyes. It lives on the sea floor, disguising its tentacles as seaweed to attract prey, which it then swallows whole. Lileep lived in warm seas approximately 100 million years ago and became extinct, but can be revived through fossil technology. It's a popular Pokémon within the games, anime, manga, and Trading Card Game, appreciated for its unique ecology and battle characteristics.
