Snorunt (Japanese: ユキワラシ Yukiwarashi) is an Ice-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. In the Pokémon series, Snorunt is a small, black Pokémon with an ovoid body, circular light blue eyes, wide teeth, and spherical hands and feet lacking digits. It is covered by a yellow cloak with an orange stripe at the rim and three orange diamond markings on the back, giving it a triangular outline. Snorunt dwells in icy caverns, blending in with surrounding stalagmites and stalactites. They venture out only when there is snow, primarily feeding on snow and ice, and can withstand temperatures as low as -100 degrees Celsius. Folklore suggests that seeing a Snorunt at midnight indicates heavy snow the following day, and a Snorunt visiting a home means prosperity for generations. They often move in groups of five and live together under large leaves. Snorunt evolves into Glalie at level 42 or into Froslass when a female Snorunt is exposed to a Dawn Stone.
