Glalie, known as Onigōri in Japanese, is an Ice-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It evolves from Snorunt starting at level 42, and is one of Snorunt's two final forms (the other being Froslass). Glalie is a spherical Pokémon with a body resembling a black rock core covered by ice. This icy armor is stronger than steel and does not melt, protecting its body. Glalie can manipulate ice, freezing moisture in the air into any shape. It freezes its prey before consuming them, with a preference for already frozen Pokémon such as Vanillite. In battle, Glalie can instantly freeze opponents with its icy breath. Glalie can Mega Evolve into Mega Glalie using Glalitite. Upon Mega Evolving, its jaw dislocates due to excess energy, causing it to constantly spew blizzards. Mega Glalie can instantly freeze prey in its mouth and its presence causes white-out conditions. It is said that Glalie was born from the sadness and regrets of mountaineers lost in icy mountains.
