Sealeo (Japanese: トドグラー Todoggler) is a dual-type Ice/Water Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It evolves from Spheal starting at level 32 and evolves into Walrein starting at level 44. Sealeo is a chubby, bright blue pinniped Pokémon. Its throat and chest are beige with speckling around the edges. It has two short tusks protruding from its upper jaw, and dark brown, oval eyes. It possesses a powerful pair of front flippers capable of crushing ice. Additionally, it has a short, flipper-like tail. Sealeo is known for its habit of rolling objects on its nose to test their smell and texture, often to determine if it likes the object. It lives in the sea and on drift ice, diving underwater five times a day to hunt for prey. Sealeo has appeared in the anime, such as in 'The Spheal of Approval,' and has been used by various trainers. The name Sealeo likely comes from a combination of 'sea' or 'seal' and 'leo' (Latin for 'lion'). In games, Sealeo is available across multiple Pokémon generations.
