Deoxys

Deoxys (デオキシス) is a Mythical Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It has four forms: Normal Forme, Attack Forme, Defense Forme, and Speed Forme, each with different stat focuses. Deoxys is said to have originated from a space virus that mutated after being exposed to a laser beam. Its brain is believed to be the crystal on its chest, from which it can fire laser beams. This Pokémon possesses high intelligence and psychokinetic powers, enabling it to move through the air. It also has regenerative abilities, allowing it to recover lost body parts during battles. Deoxys is often depicted in a rivalry with Rayquaza and frequently travels between space and Earth. The methods to change its forms vary across different games, often involving meteorites. Each of Deoxys's forms affect its abilities, such as the Attack Forme focusing on offense, while the Defense Forme is more resilient, and the Speed Forme is faster. It has appeared in various Pokémon games and was a central character in the animated movie *Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys*.
