Staravia

Staravia (Japanese: ムクバード Mukubird) is a dual-type Normal/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation IV. It evolves from Starly starting at level 14 and evolves into Staraptor starting at level 34. Staravia is a grayish-brown avian Pokémon with black and white markings. Its head and upper body are primarily black, with an 'M'-shaped pattern over its white chest. It has a white, mask-like marking on its face, and a long, orange beak with a black tip. Staravia lives near forests and fields, where it hunts for Bug Pokémon. It forms flocks with others of its kind due to an awareness of its own weakness and cries noisily when alone. These flocks are extremely territorial and will engage in fierce disputes with other groups. In the anime, Ash's Starly evolved into Staravia in 'A Staravia Is Born!'. Staravia's design is inspired by starlings and northern lapwings.
