Budew

Budew (Japanese: スボミー Subomie) is a dual-type Grass/Poison baby Pokémon introduced in Generation IV. It resembles a rosebud and is one of the shortest Grass-type Pokémon. Budew has a yellow face with small, slit-like eyes, appears to wear a green bib, and has triangular, stubby yellow feet. It has two vines on its head, each with a spot, one blue and one red. During cold winters, Budew keeps its buds closed, opening them in spring to release poisonous pollen that induces harsh sneezing and runny noses. The pollen's toxicity increases with the purity of the water it consumes. Budew is seen as a sign of spring's arrival and lives near clean pools and ponds. It evolves into Roselia when leveled up with high friendship during the day, and Roselia then evolves into Roserade when exposed to a Shiny Stone.
