Floatzel (Japanese: フローゼル Floazel) is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IV. It evolves from Buizel starting at level 26. Floatzel resembles an otter or weasel, characterized by its distinctive yellow flotation sac that wraps around its neck and body, similar to a life preserver or small raft. This sac allows Floatzel to float and can be inflated or deflated to aid in diving and surfacing. Floatzel is primarily orange with cream-colored underbelly, muzzle, and limb tips. Male Floatzel have two cream-colored spots on their back, while females have one. It is a strong swimmer, often found near rivers, and is known to assist in rescuing drowning people and can even carry people on its back. Floatzel can learn a variety of Water and Ice-type moves.
