Cherubi

Cherubi (Japanese: チェリンボ Cherinbo) is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IV. It resembles a cherry, with a round, deep-pink body and two small feet. When exposed to sunlight, its body turns red, indicating that it has stored a lot of nutrients. Cherubi has two pairs of eyes, one of which is always open, and the other is on a smaller 'ball' attached to the main body by a green stem, usually closed. This smaller ball is actually a nutrient storage, vital for Cherubi's growth. The ball contains nutrients that help it grow, and when it consumes the nutrients within, the ball shrivels, indicating Cherubi is close to evolving into Cherrim. Cherubi enjoys sunlight and often hides in trees, especially Honey Trees, to evade predators. Its ball is said to be very sweet and tasty, making it a target for bird Pokémon such as Starly.
