Happiny (Japanese: ピンプク Pinpuku) is a Normal-type Baby Pokémon introduced in Generation IV. It is a small, egg-shaped Pokémon with a light pink body, a curly 'ponytail,' and a red pouch on its lower half. Happiny cannot produce Eggs, so it carries a round, white stone in its pouch to imitate Chansey and Blissey. It treasures this stone and might give it to someone it likes. Happiny is known for its innocent nature and love of playing with children, but it can throw a tantrum if its stone is taken or not returned. In the anime, Brock's Happiny, which evolved into Chansey and later Blissey, showed great strength despite its low stats in the games. Happiny evolves into Chansey when leveled up holding an Oval Stone during the day, and then Chansey evolves into Blissey with high friendship.
