Gabite

Gabite (Japanese: ガバイト Gabite) is a dual-type Dragon/Ground Pokémon introduced in Generation IV. It evolves from Gible starting at level 24 and evolves into Garchomp starting at level 48. Gabite is a medium-sized, bipedal, dragon-like Pokémon that is primarily blue. Its underside is light blue with red markings, and it has two jet-like appendages extending from its head, along with fins and spikes on its body. Gabite is known to be fierce and predatory, hoarding shiny objects like gems in its nest. Its scales are said to have medicinal properties. It can also emit ultrasonic waves to navigate dark caves. Gabite is known for its territorial nature. It appears in the anime as a Pokémon owned by Ursula and in flashbacks of other characters. The design combines elements of sharks, dragons, and dinosaurs. The name may be a combination of "gaburi" (with a big bite) and "bite".
