Hippowdon

Hippowdon (Japanese: カバルドン Kabaldon) is a Ground-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IV. It evolves from Hippopotas starting at level 34. Hippowdon is a large, hippo-like Pokémon, with its skin color differing based on gender: males are light brown, while females are bluish-gray. It has several holes on its dark gray back and muzzle from which sand often spills. This sand is stored internally and used to create twisters when attacking. Hippowdon is short-tempered and displays its strength by gaping its mouth, which is powerful enough to crush a car. It has a symbiotic relationship with Dwebble, which clear stones stuck in its ports. Hippowdon inhabits deserts and swampy terrain. It's known to be surprisingly quick to anger, and will expel large amounts of sand when enraged.
