Leafeon (Japanese: リーフィア Leafia) is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IV. It is one of Eevee's evolutions, evolving when Eevee levels up near a Moss Rock or when exposed to a Leaf Stone. Leafeon is a quadrupedal, mammalian Pokémon with a lithe feline-like body. Its body is primarily tan with brown paws, and it has green sprouts growing from various parts of its body, including a large leaf on its forehead, as well as its ear and tail resembling tattered leaves. Leafeon's cellular structure is similar to that of plants, enabling it to perform photosynthesis to gain energy, thus it does not require food. These peaceful Pokémon are known to bask in sunlight to purify the air around them and prefer to live in lush forests with clean rivers. Though they are pacifistic, they will use their sharp leaf-like tail to defend their friends when necessary. In the Galar region, Leafeon's fragrance is valued and used in the production of popular perfumes.
