Cresselia (Japanese: クレセリア) is a Psychic-type Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation IV. It is a member of the lunar duo with Darkrai. Cresselia has a swan-like body with a blue color, a yellow underside, and crescent-shaped ornaments on the sides of its head. It has pink wings on its back and sides. It is often associated with the crescent moon and the goddess who created the Milky Way. Cresselia has the power to dispel nightmares and induce pleasant dreams; holding one of its feathers is said to bring good dreams. It plays a significant role in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series, often residing near Darkrai to keep an eye on it. Cresselia is a female-only species and does not evolve.
