Phione

Phione (Japanese: フィオネ Phione) is a Water-type Mythical Pokémon introduced in Generation IV. It is considered one of the sea guardians and is associated with Manaphy, though it does not evolve. Phione is blue with a small body and a large head, featuring a flotation sac on top and a long, ribbon-like antenna. It has a red oval gem on its chest. Phione drifts in the water by inflating its head sac, searching for food. It can be bred from Manaphy and Ditto, but it cannot evolve into Manaphy itself. Its ability is Hydration, which heals any status conditions in rain. Phione primarily inhabits warm seas and migrates back to its birthplace. Despite being a Mythical Pokémon, its status has been inconsistent in official sources, sometimes being treated as a regular Pokémon.
