Manaphy

Manaphy (Japanese: マナフィ) is a Water-type Mythical Pokémon introduced in Generation IV. It does not evolve into or from any other Pokémon. Manaphy has the unique ability to breed despite being a Mythical Pokémon, although it can only breed with Ditto, resulting in Phione, not another Manaphy. Manaphy is considered one of the guardians of the sea. Eighty percent of its body is made of water, making it highly susceptible to its environment. It also possesses a strong homing instinct, swimming long distances to return to its birthplace. Manaphy has the ability to bond with any Pokémon and can use the move "Heart Swap" to switch the perspectives of people and Pokémon. It has an onion-shaped head with long blue antennae, a red gem on its chest, and a yellow dot below the gem. Manaphy's egg is distinctive, blue with glowing yellow dots and a red gem-like center. Manaphy has appeared in various anime, manga, and games, notably playing a significant role in the movie *Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea*.
