Tepig

Tepig (Japanese: ポカブ Pokabu) is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It resembles a small piglet, primarily orange with black ears, head, back, and tail tip, and a yellow stripe on its snout. Tepig is one of the starter Pokémon in the Unova region. It can shoot flames from its nostrils and when ill, it emits black smoke instead. Known for its gluttony, Tepig loves roasted berries, though it sometimes burns them. In the games, Tepig evolves into Pignite and then Emboar. Tepig has appeared in the Pokémon anime, manga, and games. Ash owns a Tepig in the anime and it also appears in multiple manga series. Tepig is thought to be based on the Vietnamese Pot-Bellied Pig or Japanese wild boar, and is a popular Pokémon in the franchise.
