Liepard

Liepard, known as レパルダス in Japanese, is a Dark-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It evolves from Purrloin starting at level 20. Liepard is a slender, feline Pokémon with a purple coat and yellow rosette markings. It has a pink "mask"-like marking around its eyes, a pink nose, and small yellow markings above its green eyes. It features two pairs of long yellow whiskers and a tufted yellow underside. Its lower legs are yellow, and each small paw has a pale pink pad. Its tail is long, curved, and sickle-shaped at the tip. Liepard possesses well-developed muscles, allowing it to run silently and strike opponents from behind. It is also known for its ability to vanish and reappear without warning. It is described as moody and vicious. In the Galar region, it competes with Thievul for territory. Liepard is considered a thief-like Pokémon, using its charm to deceive opponents and steal their belongings. Liepard's design may draw inspiration from housecats and leopards, as well as spotted wildcats such as the leopard cat, ocelot, and serval. Its appearance and behavior suggest a possible basis on a female thief, commonly known as a "cat burglar."
