Roggenrola (Japanese: ダンゴロ Dangoro) is a Rock-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It resembles a spherical rock, primarily dark cobalt-blue with smooth facets on its surface. It has a hexagonal, yellow structure in the center of its body, connected to a hexagonal opening that serves as an ear. Roggenrola has a brown rock protrusion on its head and similar rocks for feet. Its body is composed of dirt from centuries ago, making it as hard as steel. Roggenrola is typically born deep underground, discovered about 100 years ago in earthquake fissures. It has an energy core inside, making it warm to the touch. It is very sensitive to sound, moves towards noises, and panics if the sounds cease. Roggenrola evolves into Boldore at level 25, and Boldore evolves into Gigalith through trading.
