Boldore (Japanese: ガントル Gantle) is a Rock-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It evolves from Roggenrola starting at level 25 and evolves into Gigalith when traded. Boldore is a large, bulky, blue rock-like Pokémon with red crystals on its back, front, and pincer-like limbs. A spine protrudes from between its yellow ear-like protrusions. Its orange crystals, hardened from its endlessly leaking energy, are tough enough to break diamonds and are highly sought after, with a fragment capable of powering a hundred dump trucks. Boldore searches for underground water but is uncomfortable around it, thus lapping water carefully. It relies on sound to navigate, faces one direction, and attacks without changing direction. A healthy Boldore has its core exposed.
