Gigalith (Japanese: ギガイアス Gigaiasu) is a Rock-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It first appeared in Pokémon Black and White. It is the final evolved form of Roggenrola, evolving from Boldore through trading. Gigalith resembles a massive boulder with a deep bluish-gray body and red crystals protruding from it. These crystals glow orange when it attacks. It has a bulky, quadrupedal body, with sharp crystal tusks on its face. Gigalith typically dwells deep underground and is capable of absorbing sunlight, storing it within its energy core to release powerful energy blasts from its mouth. Its energy blasts are said to be able to obliterate mountains, but this ability is limited by night and rainy conditions. Gigalith's strength and sturdy build make it a popular partner for construction workers, often seen working alongside humans and Copperajah in mines and construction sites in the Galar region. Being a Rock-type Pokémon, Gigalith is vulnerable to Fighting, Ground, Steel, Water, and Grass moves.
