Jellicent, known as Burungel in Japanese, is a dual-type Water/Ghost Pokémon introduced in Generation V of the Pokémon franchise, first appearing in Pokémon Black and White. It evolves from Frillish at level 40. Jellicent is an enormous jellyfish-like Pokémon with some octopus-like traits, and its appearance varies by gender. Male Jellicent are cyan blue with a white mustache-like membrane, and red eyes with blue pupils. Female Jellicent are bright pink with a frilly pink membrane, and red eyes with blue pupils and two long eyelashes, and a red lip-like mouth. Jellicent's body is primarily composed of seawater, which it can expel to propel itself. They are rumored to gather on full moon nights to feed on life energy and create underwater castles from sunken ships. Fishermen fear Jellicent for their ability to drag ships underwater and steal the lives of their crew.
