Joltik, known as Bachuru in Japanese, is a dual-type Bug/Electric Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It is a tiny arachnid-like Pokémon with a body covered in yellow fur and four blue-tipped legs. Joltik has two large blue eyes and two smaller blue eyes above them. Unable to generate its own electricity due to its small size, Joltik attaches itself to larger Pokémon to absorb their static electricity. It can also be found in houses, feeding off electricity from electrical outlets. Joltik stores the absorbed energy in an electric pouch on its body. It evolves into Galvantula starting at level 36.
