Klinklang, known as ギギギアル in Japanese, is a Steel-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V of the Pokémon series, first appearing in Pokémon Black and White. It is the final evolution of Klink, evolving from Klang at level 49. Klinklang is characterized by its appearance as four interlocking gears, with a larger gear behind, two smaller gears on top, and a bottom gear with a red core and spiked rim. The red core stores energy generated from the rotation of the gears and can release electricity through the spikes. Klinklang primarily inhabits areas with machinery, having a complex and precise body structure that allows it to generate energy by spinning its gears rapidly. Although it has a tough metallic exterior, its attack methods include electric attacks. As a pure Steel-type Pokémon, it possesses strong defensive capabilities and immunity to Poison-type attacks. Its design is inspired by interlocking gears, showcasing a mechanical feel from the industrial age.
