Beheeyem, known in Japanese as オーベム (Ohbem), is a Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V of the Pokémon franchise, first appearing in Pokémon Black and White. It evolves from Elgyem. Beheeyem is a brown, extraterrestrial-like Pokémon with an oblong head featuring depressions on both sides and symmetrical black lines on its front. It communicates by flashing the red, green, and yellow digits on its hands and can also manipulate the memories of its opponents, even rewriting them. It's believed to be responsible for the mysterious disappearances of Dubwool on farms and is sometimes found hovering over wheat fields. In the anime, Beheeyem is shown to be capable of building and controlling spaceships. Its design is inspired by alien stereotypes, particularly the 'Greys,' along with UFO conspiracy theories like the Roswell incident and Area 51. Its head shape is reminiscent of the Flatwoods monster, and the colors on its fingers are similar to the aliens from the 1953 film, 'War of the Worlds'.
