Lampent

Lampent (ランプラー, Ranpuraa) is a Ghost/Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V of the Pokémon series. It evolves from Litwick starting at level 41. Lampent resembles a haunted lantern or street lamp, with a black cone-shaped cap, a cylindrical body, and a glass-like head containing a purple flame. It is known for lurking in forests, cities, and even hospitals, where it steals the spirits of the dying to fuel its flame. According to Pokédex entries, it is feared as an emissary of death. Lampent can further evolve into Chandelure through the use of a Dusk Stone. Its name and design are likely derived from the words “lamp” and “lament”. Lampent's Japanese name is ランプラー, and it's known as the 'Lamp Pokémon'.
