Chandelure, known as シャンデラ in Japanese, is a dual-type Ghost/Fire Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It first appeared in the Pokémon Black and White games. It is the evolved form of Lampent and the final evolution of Litwick. Chandelure resembles a ghostly chandelier, with a large, round glass head containing purple flames and multiple arms tipped with purple flames extending from its base. It is said to hypnotize its victims by waving its flames, then absorb their spirits to fuel its own. Chandelure is a popular Pokémon due to its unique design and powerful abilities, and it has appeared in many Pokémon games, as well as the anime, manga, and trading card games. Its design is inspired by haunted chandeliers and the will-o'-the-wisps, combining elements of mystery and elegance. The Pokémon is also a common feature in Halloween-themed promotions.
