Zekrom

Zekrom (Japanese: ゼクロム) is a dual-type Dragon/Electric Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It is the mascot of Pokémon White and is part of the Tao Trio along with Reshiram and Kyurem. Zekrom is a black, bipedal dragon-like Pokémon with red sclerae, white irises, and black pupils. It has a thundercloud-like crest on its head and a large, round, conical, spiked tail that functions as an electricity generator. Zekrom's tail generates energy, emits an anti-gravity field for flight, and it can hide in thunderclouds. According to Unovan mythology, Zekrom sided with the younger brother who sought ideals, symbolizing aspiration and dreams. It is said to destroy kingdoms that have lost righteousness. Zekrom can also fuse with Kyurem to become Black Kyurem and is the only Pokémon capable of learning Bolt Strike by leveling up. Zekrom has appeared in anime, manga, and various games, making it a notable character in the Pokémon franchise.
