Genesect

Genesect (Japanese: ゲノセクト Genesect) is a dual-type Bug/Steel Mythical Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It is a bipedal, cybernetic insectoid Pokémon with a primarily purple metallic body. Its head is saucer-shaped, with two red eyes and a white area that gives the appearance of a grin. On its back, it has a powerful laser cannon that was modified and added by Team Plasma. Genesect existed 300 million years ago and was revived from a fossil by Team Plasma, who then enhanced it with technology. It has the special ability to change the type of its signature move, Techno Blast, by using different Drives. In ancient times, it was feared as the fiercest of hunters. Genesect does not evolve and has multiple forms that change the color of the cannon on its back depending on the held Drive. It has made numerous appearances in the anime, including the movie 'Genesect and the Legend Awakened' and is the last Pokémon in the Unova Pokédex.
