Chesnaught

Chesnaught, known as Brigarron in Japanese, is a dual-type Grass/Fighting Pokémon introduced in Generation VI. It is the final evolved form of Chespin, the Grass-type starter from the Kalos region. Evolving from Quilladin, Chesnaught becomes more muscular and knight-like in appearance, possessing a tough, armor-like body capable of withstanding powerful attacks. While generally gentle, Chesnaught is fiercely protective of its allies and trainer, and will become aggressive if they are threatened. Known for its exceptional defense, Chesnaught is capable of flipping a 50-ton truck and using its body to shield its companions from danger. Its name is derived from a combination of “chestnut” and either “juggernaut” or “knight”, reflecting its armored body and powerful nature.
