Frogadier (Japanese: ゲコガシラ Gekogashira) is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VI. It evolves from Froakie starting at level 16 and evolves into Greninja starting at level 36. Frogadier is an amphibious Pokémon that resembles a frog. It has deep blue and cyan-colored skin, yellow eyes with cyan eyelids, white and slightly protuberant nostrils, and a flowing scarf-like collar of frothy white bubbles around its neck. Its front legs are long and skinny, and its back legs are powerfully built, allowing it to jump to incredible heights. Frogadier is known for its nimbleness and swiftness; it can scale a tower exceeding 2,000 feet in one minute. It can also throw bubble-coated pebbles at targets up to 100 feet away with precision. In battle, Frogadier confounds opponents by leaping about ceilings or into trees. Its name is derived from "frog" and "brigadier."
