Doublade (ニダンギル) is a dual-type Steel/Ghost Pokémon introduced in Generation VI of the Pokémon series. It evolves from Honedge starting at level 35 and evolves into Aegislash when exposed to a Dusk Stone. Doublade appears as two swords with pink eye-like gems embedded in their hilts. It communicates telepathically and coordinates complex attacks using its two blades. Doublade can emit a metallic sound by rubbing its blades together, disorienting opponents. It excels in both offensive and defensive strategies, making its attacks difficult to block even for skilled swordsmen. In the anime, Doublade was owned by Sawyer and later evolved into Aegislash.
