Amaura (Japanese: アマルス Amarus) is a dual-type Rock/Ice Fossil Pokémon introduced in Generation VI. It can be revived from a Sail Fossil. Amaura is a small, sauropod-like Pokémon with a light blue body, a white diamond-shaped marking on its underside, and a pink-tipped membrane on its head. It has a long neck and a blue gem on each side of its body. Amaura evolves into Aurorus when leveled up at night starting at level 39. It is believed to be over one hundred million years old and is known for being docile and living in packs, and it is said to be able to summon auroras when it howls. However, the heat of the modern environment makes it difficult for Amaura to survive, resulting in shorter lifespans for those revived in the modern era. In Pokémon GO, Amaura was released on June 7, 2022, during the Adventure Week event. It evolves into Aurorus when fed 50 candies at night.
