Sliggoo, known as ヌメイル in Japanese, is a Dragon-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VI. It evolves from Goomy and evolves into Goodra. Sliggoo resembles a purple, snail-like creature with a gooey, soft body covered in slime. It has four long, feeler-like horns on its head, which are a lighter shade than the rest of its body. Due to its evolution, its eyes have devolved, leaving it blind. Instead, it uses its horns as a radar system to sense sounds and smells. Sliggoo secretes a caustic mucus that can dissolve anything, using it both for defense and to liquefy its prey before consuming it. Its primary motivations are to find food and avoid danger. There is also a regional variant known as Hisuian Sliggoo found in the Hisui region. This variant is a dual-type Steel/Dragon Pokémon, characterized by its grey, metallic shell, which is believed to be the result of its mucus reacting to the iron-rich waters of the Hisui region. Hisuian Sliggoo is melancholic and tends to curl up inside its shell for protection.
