Torracat (Japanese: ニャヒート Nyahiito) is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VII, first appearing in Pokémon Sun and Moon. It evolves from Litten starting at level 17 and evolves into Incineroar at level 34. Torracat is a feline Pokémon with a primarily black and red-orange color scheme, featuring red-orange stripes on its back. It has a bell-like flame sac on its neck that can produce flames. When Torracat's emotions run high, the sac’s temperature rises, producing a bell-like sound as it emits flames. Torracat is known for its love of battle, and although it may sometimes behave like a spoiled child around its Trainer, it possesses sharp claws that can leave scratches. It is capable of bending iron bars with a single punch. Its mane is also a sensory organ, which helps it navigate in the dark. The flame sac not only produces flames but also absorbs fire from external sources to enhance its own power. Torracat's design is inspired by tabby cats with tiger-like characteristics. The name Torracat is a combination of “torrid,” “torch,” and “cat.”
