Yungoos, known as the Loitering Pokémon, is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It resembles a long-bodied mongoose with brown fur, yellow stripes on its back and underside, and a tuft of fur on its head that resembles a toupee. Yungoos has a voracious appetite, with most of its body dedicated to its stomach, and it digests food quickly, making it constantly hungry. It patrols its territory in search of fresh prey. Originally, Yungoos was not native to the Alola region but was imported to control the Rattata population. In Pokémon GO, Yungoos evolves into Gumshoos during the day by using 50 candies. It has the abilities 'Stakeout' and 'Strong Jaw,' with 'Adaptability' as its hidden ability.
