Gumshoos

Gumshoos (Japanese: デカグース Dekagoose) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It evolves from Yungoos starting at level 20 during the day. Gumshoos resembles a mongoose, with brown fur and a yellow underside and stripe, giving the impression of an open trenchcoat. It has three black claws on each paw and notched ears. Known for its patience and tenacity, Gumshoos stakes out prey's usual routes, waiting patiently for the right moment to strike. Although it prefers Alolan Rattata and Raticate, it rarely encounters them due to its diurnal nature. When the sun sets, Gumshoos collapses from exhaustion and sleeps on the spot. Its name likely derives from "gumshoe" (detective) and "mongoose."
