Charjabug (Japanese: デンヂムシ Dendimushi) is a dual-type Bug/Electric Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It evolves from Grubbin starting at level 20 and evolves into Vikavolt when leveled up in a special magnetic field or when exposed to a Thunder Stone. Charjabug resembles a small subway train or battery, with a green body, blue square eyes, a gray rectangular mouth, and orange pincers. It is often found motionless, half-buried in the earth or leaves, feeding on humus and converting it into electricity. This electricity can power a household for a day and can be shared with other Pokémon. Charjabug's sturdy shell provides protection, and it can discharge electricity from its jaws to attack. The method for evolving Charjabug into Vikavolt varies between games; in earlier generations, it required leveling up in a special magnetic field, whereas later generations allow it to evolve using a Thunder Stone.
