Ribombee, known as Aburibbon in Japanese, is a dual-type Bug/Fairy Pokémon introduced in the seventh generation of the Pokémon series. It evolves from Cutiefly starting at level 25. This tiny, insectoid Pokémon has a large head, a slightly smaller body, and thin arms and legs. It is covered in fluffy, yellow fur with a white face, lower body, and a tuft of white fur on its back. Ribombee has large eyes with one white and one brown square speck in the center, white eyelashes-like hairs over its eyes, and two black antennae. It wears a brown scarf with a needle-like projection on its neck. Its back sprouts two wings that are nearly as large as its body, with white wings and three brown loop designs near their bases. Ribombee collects flower nectar and pollen to create balls called “Pollen Puffs,” which serve as food and can cause effects such as paralysis or dizziness in battles. Ribombee dislikes rain, preferring clear weather and using its ability to sense moisture and wind to predict the weather. It also has a unique ability to sense sadness in other Pokémon and people, cheering them up with handmade pollen puffs.
