Lurantis

Lurantis (Japanese: ラランテス, Rarantesu) is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It is the evolved form of Fomantis. Lurantis is a plant-like Pokémon with insectoid traits. Its body has shades of pink with white accents, light red eyes, and green antennae. It has four extensions on its head: two red-tipped ones resembling ears, and two white-tipped ones resembling stylized hair. Its forearms are like a mantis's arm, each tipped with a green claw. Lurantis lures opponents with its flower-like appearance and aroma, then attacks them. It's considered the most gorgeous Grass-type Pokémon due to its bright colors and elegant moves. Lurantis requires detailed grooming to maintain its appearance. It can fire powerful energy beams from its sickle-shaped petals, which can slice through thick metal. It also disguises itself as a Bug Pokémon for self-protection, luring in and feeding on small bird Pokémon. It prefers trainers who care for it diligently, showing more vibrant colors with care. In Alola, a special Lurantis acts as the Totem Pokémon in Lush Jungle.
