Oranguru (Japanese: ヤレユータン) is a dual-type Normal/Psychic Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It resembles an orangutan, with white fur, gray skin, a wide face, and a four-edged star on its forehead. A cape-like fur rests on its back, and it always holds a fan made of leaves in its right hand. Oranguru are solitary Pokémon that dwell deep in rainforest canopies, spending much of their time meditating. They are known for their intelligence, aiding other injured or hungry Pokémon, and have been observed using human tools and even throwing Poké Balls. Oranguru do not get along well with others of their kind, engaging in battles of wits to establish dominance.
