Wimpod, known in Japanese as Kosokumushi, is a dual-type Bug/Water Pokémon introduced in Generation VII of the Pokémon series, first appearing in Pokémon Sun and Moon. It resembles an isopod, such as a pillbug or a giant isopod, with a round, segmented, light-grey oval body. Wimpod has a purple border around its head, with two purple crescent-shaped fin-like spikes extending from each side. Its mouth is covered by a frill of short purple whiskers, and it has two large, round, yellow, squinted eyes. Wimpod is known for its cowardly nature, being wary of noises and sudden movements. However, its curiosity can lead it to approach stationary people or Pokémon. When threatened, it spits out a poisonous liquid as a warning. Wimpod eats and stores anything it finds, including garbage in the sea, making it a valuable cleaner. It evolves into Golisopod at level 30.
