Minior (Japanese: メテノ, Meteno), also known as the Meteor Pokémon, is a dual-type Rock/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. Minior has two forms: the Meteor Form and the Core Form. In its Meteor Form, it resembles a rock with five white spikes, black spots, and triangular markings. Its Core Form is revealed when it sheds its outer shell, displaying a brightly colored spherical core. There are seven core colors: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet, depending on the dust and food it absorbed in the stratosphere. Minior forms in the stratosphere, building its shell and core by absorbing particulate matter. When it becomes too heavy, it falls to the ground, and its shell breaks to reveal its core form. The Core Form is fast but has a limited lifespan if not captured quickly. Minior does not evolve, and its form changes in battle based on its HP; below 50% HP it shifts to its Core Form, and above 50% it reverts to its Meteor Form. The core design is inspired by the Japanese candy konpeito.
