Tapu Bulu (Japanese: カプ・ブルル Kapu-Bulul) is a dual-type Grass/Fairy Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It is known as the guardian deity of Ula'ula Island in the Alola region. Tapu Bulu has the power to manipulate vegetation and cause it to grow. It has a bulky black body with white and red markings and curved horns with wooden shells on top. It can close its shell to resemble a bull's head. Despite its great power, Tapu Bulu is largely inactive, often ringing the bell on its tail to avoid conflicts. However, it is merciless to those who offend it. In battles, Tapu Bulu's unique typing and abilities make it a formidable opponent.
