Xurkitree, known as Denjyumoku in Japanese, is an Electric-type Ultra Beast Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. Its codename is UB-03 Lighting. Xurkitree has a unique appearance, resembling a large robot made of electrical wires and connectors, with a glowing star-shaped light fixture for a head, copper wire hands, and plug-like feet. It doesn't evolve into or from any other Pokémon. Xurkitree is said to live in an alternate world called Ultra Plant, where they absorb electricity from the ground by rooting their limbs like trees. It can discharge up to a million volts of electricity and its body is highly conductive. Xurkitree sometimes raids power plants to replenish its energy, and it has a rivalry with Blacephalon. It possesses the ability to store Z-Power, showing a red aura. Xurkitree was first introduced in Pokémon GO in August 2022, and its shiny form was released in 2024.
