Kartana

Kartana (カミツルギ), known as UB-04 Blade, is a dual-type Grass/Steel Ultra Beast Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It resembles an origami humanoid, with a body primarily white and red, and a head folded into its body featuring a four-pointed star. Kartana's design is inspired by origami, particularly Japanese paper craft used for ceremonial gifts. This Pokémon is characterized by its incredibly sharp, blade-like body, capable of slicing through steel effortlessly. Despite its high attack and defense, its paper-thin physique makes it vulnerable to fire and moisture. In the anime, Kartana has the ability to open Ultra Wormholes and speak human language backwards. Renowned for its high attack and speed stats in the games, it's a significant battle asset in Generation VII. Kartana's origins are thought to be inspired by Japanese samurai swords and origami, as well as paper spirits within Japanese culture.
